Engineering for Kids is proud to inspire the next generation of Engineers! We focus on using hands-on and interactive methods to get children excited about science, technology, engineering, and math. Our young engineers have the opportunity to design, build, test, and refine their own creations in a safe and fun environment. By providing young minds the opportunity to develop skills that will follow them through adulthood, we aim to take part in the success of the new generation as well as the future of our economy."
Here is how it works:
This is a year-round program and generally runs for 4 weeks with the students meeting once a week. During these 4 weeks, students will be introduced to an engineering discipline, and every week they will work on a different project of said discipline. Every 4 weeks we will visit a new discipline of engineering.
Students are grouped into two categories:
1) Junior Engineers: Grades K to 2nd.
2) Apprentice Engineers: Grades 3rd to 5th
Classes are 1 hour long. The cost of each program is $100. Programs are also prorated depending on how many times we meet during a month. We also have a sibling discount. First student pays full price, 2nd and up get 10% off.
