Sage International obtained its IB World School authorization for the Primary Years Programme (PYP - K-5th grades) in 2012. In strengthening and implementing Sage International's PYP curriculum, our team draws on a wealth of knowledge and experience from IB World Schools around the globe to create a relevant, challenging, 21st century educational framework.

What is the IB PYP? 
The PYP is a transdisciplinary curriculum of international education that fosters the development of the whole child. The PYP strives to engage hearts as well as minds by focusing on encompassing social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic growth. 
At the heart of the PYP’s philosophy is a commitment to structured, purposeful inquiry as the leading vehicle for learning. Sage International’s PYP is guided by six Units of Inquiry or Transdisciplinary Themes that provide the framework for exploration and study. These Units (see image below) transcend conventional subject boundaries (math, language, arts) through the six themes of global significance:
